https://www.youtube.com/c/Blueboxgamestudios/videos

Quem lembra do Moby Dick Studio e do diretor Joakim Mogren? :lolmor:

Demon Souls Remake PlayStation 4 Version found in PlayStation Database

E4BOp09VkAA1kad-1140x641.jpeg

Demon Souls Remake originally released as a PlayStation 5 Exclusive, but a PlayStation 4 version has been found on PlayStation Database by PlayStation Game Size; now again this does not confirm anything; this could be some cancelled port, or it could actually be coming to PlayStation 4 to boost the sales because PlayStation 5 Shortage still has not stopped.

Nothing is confirmed until it is official, so I personally think that Demon Souls Remake could be coming to PlayStation 4 because of the Shortage issues; this part is just me speculating, but again, this could be some sort of test port we do not know when this version was created or anything about it.

Sony made God of War Ragnarok and Gran Turismo 7 Cross-Gen due to these shortage issues as well, so I would not be surprised if they do a PlayStation 4 Port just to boost the sales and satisfy people who are still unable to get PlayStation 5 due to shortage issues.

PlayStation is supposed to have an event in a couple of weeks, according to some rumours, and I think they will announce something related to this there.

We will keep you updated and update this article as soon as we dig into this situation more.

What’s Going On With BLUE BOX Game Studios and ‘Abandoned’? Is it Really Kojima and Silent Hill? (Update)

Untitled-10.png

UPDATE: See additional updates at the bottom of the article with even more evidence.

Remember years ago when Hideo Kojima was first teasing Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain? He made up a fake studio called Moby Dick Studios and for months played the role of a fake developer named Joakim Mogren, announcing a game called The Phantom Pain, which of course ended up being MGSV. Any good conspiracy, however, isn’t complete without a bunch of red herrings and hoaxes from overzealous fans complicating things. Kojima did the same thing with the fake P.T. ultimately being a “playable teaser” for the canceled Silent Hills. So is it happening all over again with BLUE BOX Game Studios and “Abandoned”? Is this really Hideo Kojima and Silent Hill, or is it genuinely a studio caught in the middle of conspiracy theories from fans who will end up disappointed?

I’ve fallen down a rabbit hole of research, collecting as much information as I can to try to come to a definitive conclusion. So far, there are fewer overtly obvious clues than the entire Phantom Pain tease, but there’s enough reasonable doubt surrounding the entire project to suggest that there’s at least something fishy here.

https://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2021/06/16/blue-box-game-studios-abandoned-kojima-silent-hill/

FromSoftware is Apparently Working on a PS5 Exclusive, Project “Velvet Veil”

Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Elden Ring are the few game names that come to our minds when we talk about FromSoftware. While the famous developer is still busy working on Elden Ring (releasing January 21, 2022), a wild rumor has surfaced about the studio’s next game.

The rumor claims that FromSoftware is working on a PS5 exclusive which will be a spiritual successor to Bloodborne. The rumored title is codenamed “Velvet Veil”. The rumor apparently comes from a leaker who has also talked about Sekiro, Deracine and Elden Ring being open-world in the past.

Velvet-Veil-Leaker.jpg.webp

Logically, if FromSoftware will release Elden Ring in January, 2021, a new title in the early stages of development shouldn’t be a surprise. However, all of this is currently a wild speculation and everyone is currently looking forward to Elden Ring.

Apart from new games, Sony Interactive Entertainment has also been busy recently in bringing their old PlayStation exclusives to PC. The recent entry that made its way to the PC is Days Gone and it was praised a lot by PC fans and critics for being a great PC port.

Now, more PlayStation exclusives are expected to arrive on PC. Blooborne is among the hot contenders to be released on PC. Fans are also hoping that God of War (although highly unlikely) will also make its way to PC someday.

A couple of days back, Demon’s Souls was also spotted on PlayStation Store database for PS4.

Even if FromSoftware is developing an exclusive PS5 title, we can’t expect it to see anytime soon. With Elden Ring releasing in January, it would easily be a mid-generation release for PS5.

" Hermen Hulst: Yeah. You know, these partnerships are very exciting. You could, I guess, make a distinction between development teams who are part of Sony — like Naughty Dog, Insomniac, Media Molecule, Sucker Punch, and so on — and then development teams who are working with us like partners… Haven, Firewalk, but also teams we’ve worked with over years, like Kojima Productions, From Software. essa zona que a Bluebox armou fica cada vez mais estranha, mas que tá engraçado isso tá.

Sony registers a new trademark for PlayStation Experience Event also known as PSX

PlayStation-Event.jpeg

Sony has just registered a new trademark for a PlayStation Experience event which means that we could be seeing a PSX event later.

We previously reported about Sony’s Next Event being on July 8th, and this could be related to that. I think that we will definitely see a lot of games because this won’t be like the State of Play; it’s a big E3 type presentation by Sony, so when it happens, you can keep your expectations very high.

I think that we might see something related to The Last of Us Remake and Factions 2, along with some footage of the Next God of War and a release date for Horizon Forbidden West. I would also expect many surprises since PlayStation has around 25 First-Party games in development.

I think that the Death Stranding Director’s Edition could be present there, too, but I would keep my expectations low for a new Kojima Game being revealed at the event, even though there are a lot of wild theories about Kojima working on a Secret Game.

What do you think about a PlayStation Experience Event occurring soon, and what do you expect to see there?

Sony Patents System to Better Manage Console Notifications

ps5-ui.jpg

Sony Interactive Entertainment recently filed a patent for a system that summarizes notifications for users and makes room for better notification management.

As spotted by MP1st, the patent can be found on USPTO’s website, and indicates that Sony plans to refine PlayStation 5‘s user interface. According to an abstract, the system will prioritize notifications in the context of a user’s activity, determining whether to display certain notifications for a user at the time or not. The system will also populate a list notifications in order of priority. The idea behind the patent is to not disrupt users while ensuring that important information is brought to their attention.

As usual, there’s a lot of technical jargon in the application, but the abstract below does a good job of explaining what the patent is about.

"Techniques for managing notifications are described. In an example, a computing device presents content in an application window based on an execution of an application. Notification data is received by a computing device. Based on a context associated with the computing device, such as whether the application window is the foreground and whether the notification data is associated with the application or such as the operational mode of the computing device, a determination is made whether to present a corresponding notification in-context within the application window or in a pop-up window. Otherwise, the notification is added to a notification list and can be summarized in a notification summary."

What do our readers think of the current notification system?

Death Stranding Director’s Cut has been rated for PS5 ahead of its full reveal

SONY RECENTLY ANNOUNCED THE GAME WAS “COMING SOON”

death-stranding-b-1280x720.jpg

The Entertainment Software Ratings Board has classified Death Stranding Director’s Cut for PlayStation 5.

The PS5 version of Kojima Productions’ game was announced during Summer Games Fest Kickoff Live on June 10.

Its reveal trailer listed the game as “coming soon” to Sony’s console and show host Geoff Keighley also said he understood a full reveal was “just weeks away”.

While the ESRB’s classification doesn’t reveal any new information about the product, it suggests more news about the game is coming in the near future.

Released for PS4 in November 2019 and for PC in July 2020, Death Stranding is the first title from Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima since he split with Konami in 2015.

It features a cast of high-profile actors including Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux, Lindsay Wagner and director Guillermo del Toro.

Kojima has described Death Stranding as “a completely new type of action game, where the goal of the player is to reconnect isolated cities and a fragmented society”.

VGC’s Death Stranding review scored the game 3/5 and labelled it “a bloated, showy post-apocalyptic melodrama that makes a meal of some engrossing mechanics and themes.”

Kojima Productions confirmed in October 2020 that it was staffing up for a new game project and its art director said this March that the project was likely to be revealed relatively soon.

In a video interview released to coincide with the announcement of Death Stranding Director’s Cut, Kojima said his design philosophy had been significantly impacted by recent world events.

Kojima Productions is Hiring for an Unannounced Action Game

Death Stranding developers, Kojima Productions, post job listings for a variety of different positions for an unannounced action video game.

Kojima-Productions-New-Project-Feature.j

With the success of the esoteric action delivery game Death Stranding, Hideo Kojima's new production company, Kojima Productions, has already cemented itself as a strong independent studio. Many have been curious as to what Kojima's next game might be, given the unique nature of Death Stranding, and the video game director's penchant for complex stories. Fans may just get their answer soon, as Kojima Productions appears to be hiring for a number of positions in order to fill out the team for a new, unannounced video game.

It appears that Kojima Productions has begun development of something new, with job postings for a variety of different positions. There are listings for character artists, animators, producers, and sound designers, all for an unannounced title. The listings ask applicants to talk about the most interesting games they have played recently, as well as what technological trends they are following in the industry. Considering there are jobs for designers and network programmers, as well as project managers, it seems possible that this is a completely new title, rather than something operating in Death Stranding's universe.

Ghost of Tsushima’s new box removes ‘only on PlayStation’, sparking PC speculation

DAYS GONE AND HORIZON ALSO REMOVED BANNER

ghost-of-tsushima-review-1024x571.jpg

PlayStation has updated the package artwork for Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima, adding a callout to its post-launch multiplayer and potentially more significant, removing an “only on PlayStation” banner.

The new box art can be found on Amazon and PlayStation Direct with the exclusivity callout removed, while the old version can still be viewed on this product page.

Sony previously removed the “Only on PlayStation” notice for PS4 games Days Gone and Horizon Zero Dawn, as both games were among its first titles ported to PC, which could potentially indicate that Tsushima could be next in line.

However, Sony hasn’t been using the ‘Only on PlayStation’ label for PS4 titles that have PS5 versions either, such as Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Sackboy: A Big Adventure, so it could just as well indicate some sort of full PS5 version.

ghost-of-tsushima-boxes-1024x580.jpg

There is evidence that Sony has been moving away from the Only on PlayStation label for its newest titles, however.

For PlayStation 5 exclusives, Sony appears to have dropped the exclusivity branding completely, with titles such as Demon’s Souls and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart not carrying the signage.

But many of its biggest PS4 games, such as The Last of Us Part II, still carry the label. Uncharted 4, which was recently confirmed to be receiving its own PC port, also hasn’t had its box updated on Amazon nor PlayStation Direct.

VGC has asked Sony Interactive Entertainment for comment on this story.

PlayStation has recently stated its commitment to increasing its output on PC. In a corporate report published last summer, Sony first said it would explore bringing more PlayStation exclusives to PC, following Horizon Zero Dawn’s release on the platform.

However, currently Days Gone, Predator: Hunting Grounds and Helldivers are the only other PlayStation PC titles available for purchase on Steam.

Speaking in a PlayStation Blog interview published this month, PlayStation Studios head Herman Hulst said the platform holder was “still early on in our planning for PC” but that its PlayStation consoles would always be the priority for new releases.

“Horizon Zero Dawn has been very successful [on PC],” he said. “I think it shows there’s an appetite from gamers outside the PlayStation ecosystem to experience the amazing portfolio of games that PlayStation fans have enjoyed for years.

“But I want to emphasize that PlayStation will remain the best place to play our PlayStation Studios titles at launch. But we do value PC gamers, and we’ll continue to look at the right times to launch each game. Bend Studio just released the PC version of Days Gone on May 18. So that’s about two years after the PS4 release.

“And I hope that a new set of fans can and will enjoy that title. And that’s the goal — we want to reach new gamers who haven’t yet experienced the great stories, characters, and worlds that we’ve built. Releasing games on PC will not come ever at the expense of building an exciting lineup of great console games.”
