Land of No Night Is Headed Westward In 2016 For PlayStation 4

Koei Tecmo announced this morning on Twitter that Yoru no Nai Kuni (working title) or Land of No Night is headed westward in 2016 for PlayStation 4.

Land of No Night is releasing in Japan on October 1, 2015 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita. Koei Tecmo didn’t mention the PS3 or Vita versions in their announcement.

Koei Tecmo acknowledges the concerns about the game’s PlayStation 4-only announcement, so if you’d like to see the game on PlayStation 3 or Vita, your best bet would be to let them know.

Koei Tecmo Confirms Ciel no surge Is Exclusive To Japan

On Twitter today, a fan asked Koei Tecmo’s European branch if there were any plans to release Ciel no surge, the PlayStation Vita prequel to the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita’s Ar nosurge: Ode to an Unborn Star, in other regions. The account’s official reply was, “Sorry to say that Ciel no surge would remain as Japan release only. Really sorry.”

Ciel no surge was originally released on the PlayStation Vita and is a life simulation game following an amnesiac named Ionasal. The player helps care for her, diving into her memories to repair them and scanning barcodes to create Sharl to aid in the effort. Visiting can boost the relationship with Ion, eventually offering a possibility of romance.

The game has seen three releases in Japan. The original was Ciel no surge in April 2012, which only offered the first episode. Ciel no surge Re:Incarnation, released in 2013, provided access to the first five episodes. The final form of the game is Ciel no Surge Offlinea 2014 release that contains all elements of the game.

Players interested in spending time with Ion in English can get Ar nosurge for the PlayStation 3 or Ar no surge Plus for the PlayStation Vita.

Site Oficial:

SEP 8, 2015
Presented for the first time one year ago at the Tokyo Game Show, and after gathering great feedback since then from the community, Kobojo has recently announced that Zodiac: Orcanon Odyssey would be released as a premium title followed by future additional content for all the western audiences!
This decision was taken based on the reaction of the public since the game has been presented at the last GDC (Game Developers Conference) and E3 and also follows the logical path of the pricing model of the Japanese Role Playing Games genre.
Zodiac: Orcanon Odyssey is set to be released later this year first for iOs and later for Sony and PC platforms. Adding to this the participation of Final Fantasy writer Kazushige Nojima for the story and composer Hitoshi Sakimoto for the music; it’s safe to say that Zodiac: Orcanon Odyssey will be highly anticipated by JRPG fans all over the world.

Details On What’s New In Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 And Aqua’s Story

Kingdom Hearts series director Tetsuya Nomura had some more to share on the upcoming HD collection of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue in an interview featured in Japanese magazines this week. [Thanks, Hachima.]

According to Nomura, it looks like it’s going to take a little longer until we can play Kingdom Hearts III, so he wanted fans to get a taste of Kingdom Hearts III’s world sooner than later, and together with KH3’s prologue that is KH3D, and a title that uses some of KH3’s tech. They thought about finding a way to put it all in one package, and decided to have it on the PlayStation 4.

When asked about the current development status of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8, Nomura said that at the moment, they can’t announce a certain time frame. Since it’s being developed together with Kingdom Hearts III, and there are some parts that uses the same technology that is currently being worked on, so he can’t say more at this moment.

He’s then asked about any other additional elements that are being added to the three titles in HD 2.8. Nomura says that all three won’t just be simple HD remakes. Since KH3D is going from two screens to one, it’s practically a complete remake. As for the other two, they’re new titles that are being made with some of Kingdom Hearts III’s technology, but there won’t be much as far as additional elements go.

Nomura shared that Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep: A Fragmentary Passage will be a story where you play as Aqua and go through the realm of darkness. The story takes place right after Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Final Mix’s secret trailer. They plan on implementing elements from Kingdom Hearts III, and the volume of the story will be about what you’d get from a world in the Kingdom Hearts series, as a short episode.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue is in development for PlayStation 4, and will release in Japan, North America, and Europe.
